Business Card Redesign for DCC

Doughnut Culture and Communications is a Toronto-based start-up marketing firm. During the time I working at DCC as a visual designer, I was assigned to redesign the company’s business card.


The goal of this task is to upgrade the visual of the business card while using the original branding elements. After an in-depth discussion with the CEO, I have a clear understanding about the design idea and direction I should take for this task. The CEO thought the previous design is formal and old-fashioned, which may not well represent the company’s value.


To complete the task and reach the goal by take a series of solutions


* Increase the logo's size to produce a stronger visual impression.

* Include a slogan to emphasis business identity.

* Add a coloured box behind the text to draw the reader's attention to the content.

* Use short line to separate the sections.
